When friends ask me about my favorite mountain, I often find it hard to answer. I usually name Mangart in Slovenia. I’ve been to the top twice. Both times were exciting, unique and special in their own way. This mountain, which is “only” 2.679 m high, holds a special magic for me.
Because every summit is different and hard to compare, I’m setting out in October 2018 in search of the 101 best mountains. In search of the mountains I love. The mountains where I hug the summit cross, overjoyed. The mountains that help me unwind. I’m setting out to find the mountains that inspire me and help me grow, that stay with me and that I want to tell others about.
