Swiss Braided Bread: A Delicious Recipe for Easter Brunch

Easter is just around the corner. I’ve already dyed the eggs. The sparkling wine is chilling. All that’s missing is the right dish for Easter brunch. Just in time, a Swiss woman sent me a recipe for an authentic Swiss braided bread. It tastes different from the braided yeast breads I know from Austria and Bavaria. Perfect. It’ll be a delicious addition to Easter breakfast.

Winter Youth Olympic Games 2020: Right in the thick of it

I’m excited. And the anticipation is building. At long last, I’m on my way to Switzerland again. This time, though, it’s not to play sports myself, but to cheer on the athletes. The Winter Youth Olympic Games 2020 are being held in Lausanne, and I get to watch some of the events live. Blausee in Switzerland: A Must-See with Crystal-Clear Water

Blausee may not be particularly large, but it is still one of Switzerland’s best-known mountain lakes. That’s probably thanks in large part to its striking color. I look at the packing list. Then at the pile on the floor in front of me. Is that really everything? For the third time, I go through it all, ticking off the things I've packed, and finally stow my gear in my backpack. A week in Switzerland is just around the corner. I'm taking part in the Blogger Hike Challenge, which will take me to Graubünden for five days.

The best ski resorts of 2018/2019

The ski season is over, and I’ve visited lots of ski resorts. So many of you keep asking me which one I think is the best. But I really can’t answer that. For one thing, while I know lots of them, I’m a long way from knowing them all. And for another, everyone has their own preferences. So I passed the question on to you and ran a poll on YouTube to find out which resort is your favourite. I don’t want to keep the results to myself, so here they are…
