The Geislergruppe rises steeply behind Seceda. Thanks to Instagram and the like, its rock towers are now famous around the world. Seceda in Val Gardena/Gröden is home to one of the most famous photo spots in the Dolomites. But very few people get any closer. I, however, want to get closer. mehr erfahren>101 Mountains
When friends ask me about my favorite mountain, I often find it hard to answer. Most of the time, I say Mangart in Slovenia. I’ve been to the top twice. Both times were exciting, unique and special in their own way. There’s something magical about this mountain, which is “only” 2.679 m high.
Because every summit is different and comparisons are difficult, starting in October 2018 I’m setting out to find the 101 best mountains. The mountains I love. The mountains where I’m so happy I want to hug the summit cross. The mountains that help me relax. I’m looking for the mountains that inspire me and help me grow, that stay with me and that I want to tell stories about.
I NEED YOUR HELP!
Which mountain should I check out? What’s your secret mountain tip? On which summit did you feel changed? Tell me in the comments.
